Miami Dolphins likely have no shot at hometown star Joey Bosa,Doug Martin Jersey who wants to be top overall draft pick
The Miami Dolphins might need a pass-rusher.
Ohio State defensive end Joey Bosa is probably best in class.
And,Ezekiel Elliott Jersey oh yeah, his dad played for the Dolphins, too.Mike Evans Jersey
So it's a perfect fit, right? The hometown star,Laremy Tunsil Jersey who played his high school ball at Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas, goes to his hometown team?Mark Ingram Jersey
Not if Bosa has anything to say about it.
It's not that he wouldn't want to play for the Dolphins. It's just that he (rightly) expects to be long gone by the time his dad John's old team is on the clock at pick No.Carson Wentz Jersey 8.
"I think I [am] the best pass-rusher, the best defensive lineman in the country,Darrelle Revis Jersey" Bosa said Friday at the NFL Scouting Combine.
Bosa added: "I do believe I'm the best player in the draft. Of course,Jason Witten Jersey there's a lot of amazing players in the draft, and it's going to be up to Tennessee to make that decision. As a top player,Aaron Rodgers Jersey if you don't believe that, then there's something wrong."
Friday was a big day for Bosa,Ryan Tannehill Jersey who could go as high as third overall in April after recording 51 sacks in three collegiate seasons. It's when he began pitching NFL teams that he's a legit pro and that the issues from his time at Ohio State — he was suspended for the 2015 opener for a violation of team rules and ejected from the Buckeyes' bowl game for targeting — are a thing of the past.
"I'm just going to discuss that one-on-one with the teams," Bosa said of his suspension.
If the teams get the answer they want, there's no reason that he won't be drafted far higher than his father and uncle Eric Kumerow, whom the Dolphins took with the 16th overall pick in 1987 and 1988, respectively.
